Welcome to TCT - Tacoma Container Terminal
Clean Truck Program and RFID Tag Deadline December 31, 2018.
You will be turned away at the gate if you:
* Do not have an RFID tag
* Have an incomplete registration on eModal (e.g. no VIN attached to tag, no driver attached to tag).
* Have a dead battery on your existing RFID tag.
If you have any questions, go to eModal's online help center or contact eModal helpline at 866-758-3838 or email@example.com
RFID tags will be required in both Seattle and Tacoma by the end of 2018. Stickers will no longer be used at the NWSA.
Please be advised that TCT will no longer process ANY reefer transactions after 1600.
Starting 11/15/18, Tacoma Container Terminal will have a new BOB TAIL ONLY LANE at the south end of our chassis yard. This will allow bob tails to enter directly into the chassis yard.
When trucks enter Pier 7 facility at Port of Tacoma Rd & 11th street, drivers will still present their TWIC to Port security. Driver makes the first left and then the second right and then the first left. There are signs directing the truck into the BOB TAIL ONLY LANE. Bobtails can still go to the main gate if they like. A truck with a chassis will not fit into this lane so please do not try.
